Salt Lake City, UT – July 14, 2011 – Nielsen Expositions released official details and the schedule for seminars, special events, and the keynote presentation for its first annual

Outdoor Photo Expo (OPE) in Salt Lake City August 4-5, 2011.  During the two-day event, seminar attendees will receive an inspiring and well-rounded education in a variety of topics including the latest shooting techniques, self-promotion and marketing, copyright protection, lighting, multimedia, and shooting HD video with a DSLR, from some of the most respected and successful outdoor and adventure photographers in the world.

 

Adding inspiration to education, Frans Lanting and Art Wolfe will share their work and experiences during a special keynote presentation on Friday evening, August 5th.  Additional activities include Outdoor Photo Expo's ArtFair and cocktail reception, and access to the Outdoor Retailer trade show, the largest outdoor recreation lifestyle expo, with your OPE badge, on Saturday, August 6th.  For a complete schedule and description of seminars and special events visit Outdoor Photo Expo's website.

PDN HDSLR Video Workshop -- August 3-4

If you're a photographer looking to expand into HD video then attending the HDSLR Video Workshop is a must.  Attendees of this 2-day workshop will learn how to get the most from their camera’s HD video capability by gaining a comprehensive understanding of camera settings, technical training in HD video formats, an understanding of composition for motion pictures, and much more to get you on your way to producing great videos.
